The "Starkid Precarious Auditory Concert Experience" Tour, also known as The SPACE Tour, is the first concert tour by American musical theatre company Team StarKid. The tour commenced on November 4, 2011 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and concluded on November 27, 2011 in New York City, New York.

Join Team StarKid as they blast off on the SPACE (StarKid Precarious Auditory Concert Experience) Tour! Featuring some of your favorite StarKids, see what happens when they attempt new arrangements of classic StarKid songs like 'Days of Summer', 'Status Quo', 'Ready to Go', and 'Liam’s Got a Phone Call' in a live concert extravaganza. But hitting the road for the first time presents new challenges as they learn to avoid rehearsal, brick wall destroying missiles, and the cops. Will the StarKids be able to band together and discover the true power of music?

The tour was announced via the announcement trailer on StarKid's YouTube channel on September 28, 2011.[1] It was produced in collaboration with LiveNation. The tour commenced at Michigan Theater, Ann Arbor on November 4, 2011 and concluded at Gramercy Theatre, New York on November 27, 2011.

Recording[]

A live album of the tour, recorded at the Gramercy Theatre concert,was released on March 13, 2012 through iTunes and Amazon.com.[3] [4]All of the songs, except for "It's Over Now", feature on the album. A physical CD was later released on March 23, 2012.[5] The album reached number 2 on Billboard's Top Cast Albums.[6]

A DVD of the tour, also recorded at the Gramercy Theatre concert, was released on March 24, 2012.[7] [8]Besides capturing the tour on-stage, the DVD offers behind-the-scenes footage and interviews by the film's director, Liam White.[8]
