Albus Dumbledore is a supporting character in the A Very Potter Trilogy. He features in A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel and A Very Potter Senior Year. Dumbledore is played by Dylan Saunders.

A Very Potter Musical[]

Dumbledore first appears when the students arrive at Hogwarts. He welcomes the students back to school and then skips the Sorting Ceremony. He then introduces the House Cup Tournament, in which a champion will be chosen on behalf of each House (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin) to fight for the House Cup. After Harry is selected as the champion for Gryffindor, Hermione begs Dumbledore to allow Harry to drop out but says it's impossible as Harry would "explode at the speed of light". Following this, Snape gives Dumbledore a sandwich with a bomb in it, but Hermione throws it out of the way to save his life.

After the return of Voldemort, Dumbledore invites Harry, Ron and Hermione to his office and reveal the existence and nature of Voldemort's Horcruxes. The three all agree to hunt them down, but it is revealed Dumbledore that has destroyed them all except the one located in Hogwarts. Harry, Ron and Hermione all hide under the invisibility cloak, as Malfoy enters, intending to kill Dumbledore - however, he cannot do it, and the task falls to Snape.

After Harry is killed by Voldemort, he meets Dumbledore in a realm between life and death, Harry meets Dumbledore, who explains to him that by killing Harry Voldemort involuntarily destroyed his seventh Horcrux. Dumbledore makes Harry return to the world of the living before leaving for Pigfarts riding Rumbleroar, the lion who acts as Headmaster at the Mars school, revealing he actually faked his death.

A Very Potter Sequel[]

Following the sorting ceremony, Dumbledore appears and welcomes the students to the school. Dumbledore then introduces the House Cup and "the silliest of all wizard sports", Quidditch. Dumbledore introduces Lupin and Snape as the coaches of the Gryffindor and Slytherin Quidditch teams, respectively. Dumbledore then introduces the terrifying and musclebound professor Dolores Umbridge, who has been assigned by the Ministry of Magic to keep Harry and the rest of the school safe from Sirius Black. Snape escorts the boys to their dorm, and Dumbledore tells Harry he should be proud to be in Gryffindor, like himself and his parents were.

When Umbridge is almost about to punish Harry for not having a signed Hogsmeade form, Neville appears with flowers for Umbridge sent by a 'Big D'. Umbridge meets up with Big D, who is revealed to be Dumbledore. The two then begin a flirting relationship and after sweeping "Mr. Umbridge" off her feet, Dumbledore spirits Umbridge away to make love.

Later on, Dumbledore tells Snape of his evening with Umbridge, which quickly became a disaster when Dumbledore realized Umbridge was actually a woman. Contrary to this, Umbridge has become very clingy to Dumbledore, but when Snape and Dumbledore break the news to her, she goes back to being her old self, declaring that she will destroy Dumbledore and take his job as headmaster of Hogwarts.

After Snape discovers Sirius with Harry, Dumbledore and Umbridge show up. Umbridge tries to take Harry, Ron, and Hermione to Azkaban for helping Sirius get into Hogwarts, but Dumbledore tells her that it was he who helped Sirius get in. Umbridge then presents an ultimatum: "Either kiss the dementors, or kiss Umbridge". Desperate, Dumbledore disapparates with Scarfy, leaving Umbridge to take over Hogwarts.

After Harry and the others manage to help Sirius escape, they are discovered by Umbridge who is determined to punish them. However, Dumbledore returns and stands up to Umbridge, announcing that he is gay and will use force if necessary to end her reign of terror. Umbridge is too strong, however, and refuses to back down. Harry attempts to save Sirius from dementors but is unable to. Dumbledore manages to get the kids out of danger, but tells them to stay put while he goes to search for help.

Following the defeat of Umbridge, Harry visits Dumbledore and the two discuss that their days away from Hogwarts are what make the time they have there so precious. The school then departs for the summer.

A Very Potter Senior Year[]

In the first of several flashbacks, Riddle shows Ginny his first encounter with Dumbledore while still living in a Muggle orphanage, causing Ginny to quickly fall under his spell. In a later flashback, Dumbeldore is found inspecting the body of Moaning Myrtle. Before Myrtle's body is dragged off to be fed to the house elves, Dumbledore attempts to resurrect her using the resurrection stone, but it fails. Tom tries to take the stone, but Dumbledore refuses to give it to him. He then quizzes Tom on the death of Myrtle, but Tom acts like he doesn't know anything. Dumbledore then encourages Tom to go visit his family, and the boy goes.

Later, Dumbledore appears to Harry in Godric's Hollow disguised as a construction worker to give Harry some words of advice.

Dumbledore is gay and one of Starkids' LGBTQ+ characters.
